Description
Rack-Split RDM is an economical DMX512 distribution system with support for the RDM (Remote Device Management) standard, offering eight independent DMX outlet connectors together with a DMX loop through.
RDM allows bi-directional communication over the DMX cable. Rack-Split uses 5pin XLR connectors: all data connections are mounted on the front panel of a 1U 19″ case.
An additional ‘Safe’ output provides a DMX512(1990) output with only zero start code data – which allows compatibility with any legacy DMX equipment.
+15kV ESD DMX Driver Protection; DMX Input Opto-Isolated to 1kV; DMX Output Ground Referenced.
